Santos iPORT

Synerty was awarded the project to develop an iPad extension to PORT, called iPORT.
Field engineers are assigned well rounds to ensure the accuracy of telemetered production data from Santos’s gas well heads. A well round involves taking highly accurate readings with specialised equipment. This equipment is far more accurate then the sensors used for telemetry.
The existing process was for field engineers to record results on paper, and then enter the results manually into PORT at the office.
iPORT supports:

• The production engineer to configure the tests the field engineers will perform.
• The field engineers to record the results directly into the iPad.
• The iPad to upload the latest recordings and download the latest scheduled rounds.
• Interrigation of the field RTU during the well round
